Our names are
Robyn Pierson
and Beth Taylor and we are the Youth CAP Workers for Curve
Lake First Nation (2008/2009). The Curve Lake CAP program is
designed to provide free internet services and computer access to all
community members. Free computer and internet access is currently
available at the Curve Lake
Employment Resource Centre and the
Curve Lake Library. Follow the coloured links
for information on their regular hours.
The
Curve Lake
Employment Resource Centre has 5 computers for use of community
members. All computers have internet access, and have Microsoft Office
2000 installed for tasks like word-processing, making a database, using a spreadsheet, or making a
calendar or brochure. There are also many job postings and assistance with tasks like resumes, cover letters, etc.
The Curve Lake Library has
4
computers with high speed internet access and has
similar versions of Microsoft Office for word processing,
and other similar applications. They also have a variety of applications that
help with printing off real life photos. The Library is also equipped with
a printer and scanner.
