WHAT'S HAPPENING AT THE CULTURAL CENTRE

Aaniin: I hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas and a Good New Years.  Welcome to 2007.  This is some of my plans for January.

I have been asked my Chief Knott to gather information of Curve Lake's past Chief and Councilors.  I have managed to get information from 1835 to the present.  I am requesting help from our community members as I need photographs of past Chiefs and Councilors.  If anyone should have pictures, could I please make copies for this project.  I can be reached at the Band Office. 

If you are 55 and over and have not had your picture taken for our Elder's wall, please contact me at the Band Office.  If there is enough interest, another Elder photo session will be set up.

Local photographers are welcome to put in a quote for the above mentioned.  You must be able to to 8x10 black and white, portrait quality photo's, plaque mounted and must include price for sitting.  Please send this information to Rhonda Taylor at the Band Office. 

SOUP AND BREAD night is back on and has been scheduled for January 25th Thursday from 5-8 pm.  Don't feel like cooking, come have a bowl of soup at the community centre, sit around and talk with the elders.  Take out is also available.
