The Curve Lake First Nation School

Junior & Senior Kindergarten plus Grades One to Three for Band Members and children who qualify to be entered on the nominal roll.

Available there is a Principal/Special Education Resource Teacher, three Teachers, two full time Educational Assistants, one part time librarian/secretary, an Ojibwe Language Instructor and a Custodian who do a great job making the Curve Lake First Nation School work!

Education Officers

Our three Education Officers and Native Youth Worker are happy to assist Curve Lake First Nation students in Ridpath, Lakefield District Intermediate, Lakefield District Secondary Schools and are there to provide guidance with academic needs. Post Secondary students can also access the services of the Education Officers at any time.

 

Brenda Shelswell

            Brenda is an Education Assistant who has worked with Curve Lake First Nation Education for over 17 years.

Deanna Jacobs

              Deanna works as an Education Officer for the Curve Lake First Nation Education Department.

Aricka Fleguel

              Aricka is a Child and Youth Worker who stays busy working with students at Lakefield Intermediate and Secondary Schools.

Jeanette Knott

              Jeanette is currently working with Curve Lake students at Lakefield District Secondary School.
