Under the Regional Land Administration Program
(RLAP) the Lands Officer endeavors to co-manage with Indian and Northern
Affairs Canada all matters concerning the administration of Reserve and
Designated Lands in the Curve Lake First Nation.
Negotiate the terms of
application to use and occupy Curve Lake First Nation lands under a lease
or permit contract.
Implement procedure to obtain,
under lease and permit, the use and occupation of Band and Locatee
Lands.
Monitor and ensure compliance of
terms and conditions under lease and permit.
Prepare and process all
transactions relating to Individual Land Holdings or Locatee
interest.
Establish and maintain a record
keeping system of all transactions related to Band Land, Individual Land
Holdings and Estate interest in Reserve and Designated Lands for Curve
Lake First Nation.
